How long is the hire for?

Standard hire time for all items is three hours but can be extended for a fee. This time does not include the set-up and pack down. please allow an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour on each side for this. 

Can I add extra people on?

Yes, please let us know at least 48 hours before the event start date so we can pack accordingly. Please also note a fee will apply for each additional person.

Can I meet you somewhere for pick-up?

Yes, if need be we can drop off in a suitable location and pick-up can be arranged similarly.

What if I need to cancel last minute?

Full payment to be paid 7 days before event date. In the event a booking is made within the 7 days before the event the total cost must be paid ASAP.

No booking is final without Bond & Booking full payment being made.

If cancellation of service occurs within 14 days of the reserved date, The 20%

Bond & Booking fee will be forfeited to cover admin fees, purchases and our time of planning your event.

If you choose to postpone rather than cancel, we can hold your payment aside as credit for 12 months from the original Event date.

Any cancellations outside of the 14 day period are entitled to a full refund.

How do I get my bond back?

The bond will be transferred back to you upon inspection of all goods. This can take up to three days to revise and transfer funds back. We will need to contact you for this so please keep an eye out on your messages & emails.

Do you do puppy picnics?

Yes, this is a new service we are offering which caters to you and your beloved pets. Please select the standard picnic package and add this in the notes section when booking. We also have contacts for special dog treats if needed.

Do you do kids picnics?

Yes, we are happy to customise the theme so it's suited for a child e.g. Jungle or Mermaid theme. Please include these details in the notes section when booking or send us an email for further information.

Do you have ice buckets & platters?

Yes, we sure do. Please add this to the notes section when booking your picnic if you would like us to bring this along on the day of your event.

Can I change my colour theme?

Yes, we are more than happy to accommodate any alterations to the bookings such as colours and guest sizes. Please contact us via email for any changes.

When do I need to pay by?

Our Bond & Booking Fee is due Within 48 hours of the invoice being sent, this is used to secure your booking date and items for hire. This fee is an additional 20% of your total amount.

The remaining Balance is due 7 days from event date.

Can you pick up pre-ordered food?

Yes, we can pick up food on your behalf but this will need to be arranged prior with both parties.

What if it rains on my event day?

We will always organise a back-up location with you beforehand in the case of a weather event as we can't have our items out in the rain.

What happens if my event location is over 40km away from Hill Top?

We are happy to travel outside the 40km radius. However, an additional fee of $2 per km applies. Please book as normal and we will follow up with you via email with a separate invoice if it applies to your event address. 

What is the largest setting you can go up to for a picnic?

We can currently set up place setting and decor for 36 people. However, if your event is larger please don't hesitate to contact us as we are happy to discuss arrangements further.
